Where can you find the item number, serial number, and week/year number on our devices?
When registering or reporting a device, it is important to copy the correct numbers from the label. These numbers are on the label itself, but are not marked with colored frames on the product.
The colors in the example photo below are only digitally added to show where each piece of information can be found.
✅ Item number
The item number indicates what type of device or part it is.
In the example photo, the item number is marked with a red frame.
This number is on the label, usually next to or below the text "Article No." or "Artikelnummer".
Examples from the image:
01.080.241
01.080.163-1
01.080.530
90.400.013-1
Use: You need the item number to find the correct type in the system.
✅ Serial number
The serial number is unique to each individual device.
In the example photo, the serial number is marked with an orange frame.
You often find this on the label near a QR code or under a barcode.
Examples:
565082
556700
847304841
Use: Needed to identify a specific device in our administration or for service.
✅ Week/year number (battery/accumulator)
For batteries or accumulators, there is often a week/year number.
This number indicates when the battery was produced.
In the example photo, this is marked with a blue frame.
The number consists of a week number and a year, for example:
17/2025 (week 17 of 2025)
16/2025 (week 16 of 2025)
Use: Useful for warranty and assessing the age of a battery.
