TBS (Tardif Battery System):
A battery-powered card reader that registers when an RFID card is presented. It communicates directly or at fixed times with the server and also controls the opening and closing of the lock.

TBSU (Tardif Battery System with Ultrasonic Sensor):
This is the same as the TBS system, but enhanced with an ultrasonic sensor that measures and transmits the fill level of the container.
