How does the standard dashboard in the Waste Vision Suite work?
The standard dashboard in the Waste Vision Suite (WVS) is the central page where you get live insights into routes, vehicles, container statuses, and sensors. This dashboard is mainly intended for operational users who want to quickly view the status of their waste collection and identify issues.
After logging in, you are automatically directed to this page. You can customize the dashboard yourself by adding, editing, or removing widgets.
What do I see on the dashboard?
1. Interactive map with live vehicle position
At the center of the page is a map where you can track the current position of vehicles. Routes are marked with different colors so you can easily see which routes are active.
On the map you can:
Zoom in and out to see more or fewer details.
Follow vehicles in real time.
2. Route feedback panel
To the right of the map, you see the Route feedback panel. Here, notifications and adjustments related to routes appear.
You will find here:
Changes in planned routes.
Which routes and areas have been adjusted.
When the change was implemented.
Which user made the change.
This panel helps you quickly see what has recently changed.
3. Table with recent device errors
Below the map is a table with recent error messages from devices, such as sensors that no longer communicate.
The table shows:
Error number.
Name or location of the container.
Device ID of the sensor.
Date of the error message.
Type of error.
Note: this table only shows recent errors. For a complete overview of device statuses, you can view the Device statuses page.
How do I customize the dashboard?
At the top right of the dashboard page, there are three buttons: Add, Edit, and Delete. These allow you to determine which widgets are visible.
Click Add to open the widget screen and add extra information to your dashboard.
Use Edit to modify existing widgets.
Click Delete to remove widgets from the dashboard.
Example: viewing live vehicle position
For example, if you want to see where a vehicle is currently located:
Go to the standard dashboard.
Find the interactive map in the center of the screen.
Zoom in on the desired area.
View the vehicles and their current routes.
